Yr 11 (ISLAM) Coursework questions for the first half of the Christmas Term 2009
Consider approximate word limits of, 600 for part a), 525 for part b) and 375 for part c).
You need to include at least three referenced quotes in each answer, and an academic bibliography containing at least five text books and some websites.
a) Describe the events which take place during Ramadan.
b) Explain the importance of Ramadan to Muslims and ways in which it may affect their lives.
c) 'For Muslims, fasting has both advantages and disadvantages.' Do you agree?
